| Interaction of the inflationary scalar field with surrounding fields leads to interesting dissipative effects. The background dynamics differ to standard models in that the universe never supercools, due to radiation generation. This radiation field significantly alters the perturbations, leading to interesting power spectra, including oscillations. Perturbations, thermal effects and observational characteristics will be discussed. |
