« Black holes in massive gravity: stability analysis »

Eugeny Babichev

I will consider the analytic solutions of massive (bi)gravity which can be written in the advanced Eddington-Finkelstein coordinates, and discuss stability of these solutions against radial perturbations. I will show that the bidiagonal bi-Schwarzschild solutions are unstable. In the non-bidiagonal case (which contains, in particular, the Schwarzschild solution with Minkowski fiducial metric) there are (generically) physical spherically symmetric perturbations, but no unstable modes.
