« A challenge to Cosmology: from dark energy to massive neutrinos »

Graziano Rossi
Service Astroph. (SAp), IRFU, CEA-Saclay (Gif-sur-Yvette, France)

In this talk, I will present several research projects which address topical problems in cosmology. In particular, I will focus on new methods to obtain unbiased estimates of galaxy scaling relations from photometric redshift surveys, on the study of the morphology and topology of the cosmic web with innovative statistical tools, and on techniques to constrain primordial non-Gaussianity from the CMB. I will conclude by describing the potential of the Lyman-alpha forest in constraining cosmological parameters and the neutrino mass using data from BOSS, with the help of new hydrodynamical simulations.
