| The general relativistic version for Robertson’s discussion of the Poynting–Robertson effect, that he based on special relativity and Newtonian gravity for point radiation sources like stars, is discussed. Examples are given in the context of black hole spacetimes, like Schwarzschild and Kerr, as well as for other relevant exact solutions of Einstein's field equations, like Vaidya radiating spacetime. |
