« Testing modified gravity with non-Gaussianity »

It is believed that the possibly detected non-Gaussianities of cosmic perturbations will give us new insights into the early Universe. In this talk, first I will give a general introduction of non-Gaussianity, including its concept, physical origins, current theoretical results as well as observational limits. Then I will describe the nonlinear CMB temperature anisotropy in f(R) gravity models. It will be shown that the nonlinearity of large-scale anisotropy can be enhanced in f(R) models, which will give another original of possibly observed non-Gaussianities, especiall the local type. On the other hand, this result will also give us a new constraint of modified gravity models beyond previous linear-order analysis.
