Ultraviolet light from stars at z~10 can contribute to the Near Infrared Background. Detection of this signal is controversial, but nonetheless can provide constraints on early epochs of star formation that are difficult to probe using other means. I will discuss both the overall intensity and fluctuations of the Near Infrared Background, and the implications of early star formation. |
