Strong gravitational lensing is entering a new era. Euclid will deliver over 100,000 lenses across 15,000 square degrees with good resolution, far surpassing current surveys. Conventional lens modeling is degenerate, biased, and non-universal, preventing reliable population statistics. To unlock the full potential of this unprecedented dataset, we need a universal, model-independent approach. The singular perturbative method provides exactly that. I will explain the basics of the method, demonstrate its effectiveness on a number of HST lenses, and show how reliable statistics of a large lens population can be built with this new approach, opening a transformative era for strong lensing science.
