« Why there are so many successful AGN Feedback models? »

Eugene Churazov

The AGN Feedback paradigm has become a standard element of galaxies and galaxy cluster models.
The uncertainties in the ICM physics and in the possible channels of a central AGN energy release
currently preclude building a model from the first principles. This leads to a variety of suggestions
that all claimed to be successful. We argue that this is a natural result, which is only weakly dependent
on the model assumptions.
