"Perturbation theory in anisotropic space-times: predictions from an anisotropic inflationary era"

I will first present the general framework for dealing with perturbations around a homogenous but not necessarily symmetric space-time. I will follow the standard isotropic gauge-invariant treatment and show how it can be extended to Bianchi I space-times. This formalism will then be used to treat the primordial inflationary era for which it could be relevant. I will thus discuss the general dynamics of a Bianchi I universe for the background and the perturbations. Finally by quantizing the canonical degrees of freedom I will present the general signatures in the primordial power spectrum that could arise from such an era.
