« CMB lensing and cross-correlations in the era of precision cosmology »

The effect of weak gravitational lensing is a key observable to map the mass distribution of the universe with upcoming CMB polarization experiments (Simons Observatory, CMB-S4) and large-scale structures (LSS) surveys (Euclid, Rubin). Being able to model this effect with the required level of precision will be mandatory in order to exploit these observables and their cross-correlations for cosmological applications.
I will discuss the status of CMB and galaxy surveys cross-correlation and review what we expect to learn with next generation experiments. I will discuss recent developments in the theoretical modeling of CMB lensing and its cross-correlation with LSS probes that will need to be accounted to get robust cosmological constraints. I will focus in particular on the effect of the non-linear evolution of the matter distribution, consequences of multiple deflections of photons as well as on the correlation between data masks and cosmological signals. If time allows I will conclude showing how the combination of galaxy survey data can also help us improving our constraints on inflation from CMB B-mode polarization measurements.
