Low-Ionisation Nuclear Emission-line Regions (LINERs) might be the most numerous family among active galaxies in the local universe. I will present our study of the presence and impact of outflows in LINERs. The IFU spectroscopic study of the prototype LINER NGC1052 represents a clear case. We have also used narrow band imaging for the systematic search of outflow candidates for a sample of 70 nearby LINERs. This approach allows us to classify their ionised gas morphologies and estimate the usefulness of this classification to choose the best candidates for hosting outflows.
