By consistently applying the rules of quantum mechanics to cosmological systems, one must end up in a multiverse states in which neither the background spacetime nor the inhomogeneous perturbation are in definite states. The usually considered Born-Oppenheimer approximation for which the state is a product of two wave functions (background times perturbation) must be corrected in a way similar to loop corrections in quantum field theory, leading to the inevitable existence of very specific non-Gaussian features (trispectrum) in primordial fluctuations, even for initially purely Gaussian theories. I will present the formalism describing the effect and focus on a specific singularity avoiding bouncing model with a superposition of two universes.
