« Multipolar moments of weak lensing signal around galaxy cluster: weighing fialments in harmonic space. »

Céline Gouin

Upcoming weak lensing surveys like Euclid will provide an unprecedented
opportunity to quantify the geometry and topology of the cosmic web, in
particular in the vicinity of lensing clusters. In this context, I have
caracterize the connectivity of the cosmic web by weak lensing signal, as
an unbiased mass tracer. As descibed in Gouin et al (2017), we haved used
an N-body simulations, to find a signature of the filamentary structure at
the outskirts of galaxy clusters by using molutipolar moments of the
projected density.

Also, With the advent of high performance computing, it is now possible to
address the problem of the complex interplay between baryons and dark
matter (DM) on all relevant scales. In this line, I will present the
predictions of the gravitational lensing signal (either strong or weak)
through the light-cone of the hydrodynamical cosmological simulation
Horizon-AGN (see Dubois et al. 2014). Lensing observables for both dark
and baryonic matter are computed, in order to distinguish their individual
impact on the total signal and, in turn, to study the physics of the bias.
