| Different surveys under way, optical or radio, discover a variety of variables or transients. I will describe the variety of SNe (beyond the classical type I or II), the events happening in, or close to, the center of galaxies and recent advances on Fast Blue Optical transients and Fast Radio Bursts. All these require a lot of telescope time for follow-up, to be properly caracterised. |
